Empowerment:
Coined at the World Conference on Women in Beijing (Beijing) in 1995 to refer to the increased participation of women in decision-making processes and access to power.
Today, this expression also has another dimension: the awareness of the power that women individually and collectively hold, which has to do with the recovery of women's own dignity as persons.
Therefore, from Somomu, we want to promote this awareness, as we strongly believe in the power of women and their positive impact on society through self-confidence .
